CHARACTERS OF BRAEMAR - THE FIFE ARMS

In 2018 I had worked in Scotland on a commissioned project by Hauser & Wirth, to create a series of portraits of local people in the Braemar area. I was very fortunate to have this exciting opportunity and to experience the beauty of the Highlands. Below are some of my portraits of the characters of Braemar I have created during my time in the village. These portraits are now hanging in the bar/pub area within a unique Highland hotel named The Fife Arms. I hope one day to return to the area and create some new portraits of the lovely locals. Braemar has a special place in my heart.

In 2023 I have also been fortunate to have been re-commissioned by contemporary gallery Hauser & Wirth, to create another series of portraits of local people living in Braemar’ Aberdeenshire, for The Fife Arms Hotel.
